Pastoral Partnerships
The work that we do through Transforming Lives International would not be possible without partnership from our local pastors. We believe that Jesus is the hope of the world, and He is the one who brings transformation to individuals, families, and communities.
TLI currently partners with five different pastors in locations strategically throughout Kenya. Our pastoral partners are responsible for providing spiritual care for their communities as well as providing leadership and support in the implementation of our other two initiatives to empower and develop communities.
TLI has partnered with these pastors by providing:
- Support in building new churches
- Financing community outreach events
- Providing bibles and other outreach material
- Providing routine meals for churches in communities with a high prevalence of hunger

stella bor L kitengela
Kitengela is located 19 miles south of the capital city of Nairobi.
Pastor Stella Bor was the first pastor that TLI partnered with. For 13 years she pioneered a ministry in the slums of Kawangware. During her time in Kawangware Stella led children's ministry, feeding program, and provided counseling for the some poorest Nairobi families. Stella helped begin TLI's child sponsorship program as we sought for a way to provide education opportunities for Kawangware's children. Recently, God has opened the door for Stella to now begin a new church plant in Kitengela county.
